The Backroom is a place between places. A liminal space.
A place for projects between meaning, or form, or direction.
It’s a sort of sacred space: a place set aside from the rest for a specific purpose.
The Backroom is also where the magic happens, the place where “yes” and “no” and “maybe” collide before synthesizing a new state of being.

All things wax and wane under the curtain of time.
The world, normally bathed in chaos, has had a number of stable states through the ages. To shore up against time's erosion, humans pursued technologies that would transcend time.
Stories, histories, traditions, rituals: these things carry ideas beyond the shores of our own minds and bodies. The scribes of antiquity carried these truths inside of them, slowly refining them into myths and legends. Today, digital media permeates the air surrounding us.
Radio transmitters broadcast across vast spectrum,
filling the air with stories about our lives and cultures and beliefs.
The race has always been against time.
